The classic fruity chypre, Mitsouko sets the standard for all others. From its light peach topnotes to the mossy drydown, Mitsouko is unlike any other scent. Could be called "an acquired taste," but worth working for.

Mitsouko has a bit of an acquired taste, perhaps, but fabulous once you get your nose around this fabulous chypre. Peach is definitely in the mix, balancing the vetiver and sandalwood. As it dries down, it becomes mildly spicy (though I can't identify the notes) and decidedly mossy. Takes many hours to develop fully. Interestingly enough, it was rumoured to be a favorite of Charlie Chaplin.
