Guerlain was
founded in 1828 in Paris by Pierre Guerlain. His perfume was
inspired by the scent of confections; as a result many of
his fragrances possess vanilla and amber accord. In 1921 he
launched a perfume using the name Guerlain.
The success of the house under Pierre-François peaked in
1853 with the creation of Eau de Cologne Impériale.
Jean-Paul Guerlain is currently Guerlain’s perfumer,
created classic men’s fragrances Vetiver Habit Rouge, Nahéma,
