Francois Coty
founded Coty Inc. in Paris in 1904. He began selling essences
make from flowers. His first success was his Rose Jacqueminot
scents in 1904 an L’Origan perfume in 1905. One of Coty’s
greatest successes was giving the name Cyprus to entire
fragrance classification. In 2005 it has become the world’s
largest manufacturer of fragrances. The company manufacture
fragrances, color cosmetics, and skin care. The company
headquarter is now in New York.
