Don Ed Hardy is an American
tattoo artist born in Iowa in 1945. Hardy was the first Western tattoo
artist to incorporate Japanese tattoo aesthetic and technique into his
work and is an accomplished fine artist, as well. In 2004 Christian
Audigier licensed the rights to produce the Ed Hardy line, which is
based on Hardy's imagery.
